Neufchatel Cheese Kit 2 pound
Neufchatel is a cheese that is made with cream enriched whole milk. It can be easily spiced up with garlic, onions, chives, etc. Everything you need is included in the kit except the milk and cream.
We thoroughly test all of our cheese kits - It is the only cheese we eat at home!
Light pressing needed. Can use a press or weights.
You will also need several things you may already have in your kitchen:
2 Gallons of whole milk, a thermometer, a kettle large enough to hold more than 2 gallons of milk, a mold form, a long spoon, a colander, a heat source and a cool location for aging the cheese.
Every 2lb cheesemaking kit we sell comes with twice as much rennet as required. This is in case you have problems and to cut the cost of shipping.
