This is a simple, yet effective cheese press. This kit includes the parts that you cannot buy at your local hardware store - Read the instructions per the link below for more information before buying. All you need to do is add an 8" C clamp and a 6.5" to 7" long piece of 4" diameter GREEN (not white) PVC pipe. Many hardware stores will cut the pipe for you. You should be able to complete the kit for $20 or less.

This is not spring driven like presses that will cost 5-10 times the price. You will need to adjust it more often than more expensive presses. But it definitely does the job.
